Adobe Reader Hassle Free Adobe Reader Lite is a free document management application for Windows. Created by Adobe, one of the leading names in productivity software, the application allows its users to view and edit PDF files. It also comes with commenting and signing tools on your Reader Lite is a simplified version of the popular Adobe Reader DC. Another tool you can use is the highlighter. Like notes, this feature highlights important lines, paragraphs, or terms in you. We will also be happy to know that the light version has retained the fill and draw tool. With that, you will still be able to sign your signature on the document. However, note that the creator of the document will still be responsible for creating the signature field. You can still draw on the page even if the program does not have optimized form fields.
Protection and other accessory programs Although Adobe Reader Lite lacks some features offered by the full version of Adobe Reader, some handy features are still present. For one, readers who are visually impaired, partially blind, or have motor disabilities can use the adjustment options to help them read easily. In the Preferences menu, the Accessibility section will provide you with an easy-to-use wizard. Here you can enable larger text display, higher contrasts and other settings to project a more dynamic background on your screen.
The application also did not waive the security features commonly used with Adobe products. This is because Internet scanners can use PDF files to send malicious codes to your computer. Under the Preferences option is the Security menu, which you can use to send malware or viruses to an isolated environment. It sends threats away from your device and thus protects your sensitive data.
However, as in the full version, Adobe Reader Lite cannot apply a password to the document. This feature is only available in Adobe Acrobat. Additionally, Adobe separates this application from its cloud service. It does not allow you to import documents from other Adobe cloud-based programs. There is also no text-to-speech feature in the lite version. Sorry, as an additional tool for the visually impaired user would be useful.
Still a useful alternative in general is Adobe ReaderLite a useful application for users who need to open and read PDF files. It’s a lightweight alternative to the more bloated Adobe Reader DC app. It doesn’t come with a complete set of features, but it has retained some useful features. With it you can always read, annotate, highlight or sign your documents. Don’t expect much as it only contains the basic features.
