Taking place before the events of GTA 3, Vice City shifts from a previously sordid urban environment to a colorful and glittering Miami-inspired coastal city. The jump and aim controls are insurmountable, but none of modern gamers of fluidity and intuition expect it, and the lack of swim control is so silly for a boxed boat game for the newest GTA, Vice City is simple and clunky. The game’s camera is unbiased and causes defeat for unintended objects and turns. The ship’s controls haven’t improved, unfortunately, and missions like the yacht Diaz are so bad that it’s often better to take long routes to keep GTA 6’s textures from getting uninspired and uninspired by today’s standards, and LOD suffers. on top of that. It’s great that the voice works so well because the human model has a low resolution and is almost impossible to transmit.
