In today’s blog post we will be talking about Healthier Habits for 2024. In my recent YouTube video I talked about THREE healthier habits to practice as we get older. So whether you are in your 20’s, 30’s or 40’s, with every age that we are becoming, we are getting older. It just makes all of the sense to start thinking differently about our health.
For you my blog fam, I’ll be sharing 2 HABITS in todays blog post.
What does it mean to Shabbat?
Shabbat means to take one day off and rest. Get off the internet, meetings, work, and just REST. It means having an extensive and extended time, deep time to refresh your spirit, soul and body. Whatever you do is free from the pressure of time, letting your soul find the space that it needs to just breathe. We simply cannot go from work to work, we need to rest.
Now I understand that some of us might not be able to afford a full day of Shabbat, but take what you can. You can decide that after work hours on Friday, you’ll switch off your phone, get off the Internet from Friday evening till Saturday evening. I listened to a Podcast one day, and my mind got attached to this quote which says;
"People who are too busy do not have time to enter into the goodness of God"
Everyone who takes Shabbat leaves the other 6 days differently. Taking Shabbat will add more meaning to your life and give you joyful productivity, while reducing stress. So let’s get comfortable with taking a Shabbat. I did a whole Masterclass on SHABBAT-REST, check HERE to gain access. 2.Drink more WATER
There is a healthy part of drinking water, but I also want to bring in the part of what it does to your soul. As you drink water to refresh your body let it always be constant reminder to Mind Your Business. You need to stop putting your mouth into other peoples matters, checking out everyone’s social media status and concerned about what doesn’t concern you. All this overburdens your soul and makes you feel overwhelmed. So, control the gate of your soul by minding your business and paying attention to what God has placed in you hands. You need a healthy mind and a healthy soul to get the best out of 2024.
