About the Role: Middle Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Middle Manager to join our team and oversee the coordination and communication between two key units of our business: the Social Media Unit and the Health Coaching Unit. This role will serve as the bridge between upper management and these units, ensuring efficient operations, effective collaboration, and successful execution of business strategies all in a JOYFUL atmosphere!

Work is full-time and hybrid. Applicants who live outside of Lagos are welcome to apply as we are also willing to accommodate virtual under certain conditions. 

Please note: Hybrid is preferred!

Now let’s break down what the above looks like in practice

  1. Unit Coordination:

Act as the primary point of contact between upper management and the Social Media Unit and Health Coaching Unit, coordinating and prioritizing tasks, projects, and initiatives across both units to align with our clearly defined organizational goals.

  1. Communication Facilitation:

Facilitate clear and consistent communication channels between the units and upper management.

How? 

By conducting regular meetings, providing updates, and reports to keep all stakeholders informed of progress, challenges, and opportunities.

  1. Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement strategic plans for both units, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and industry best practices to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Come up with and oversee the implementation of ideas that ensure a seamless and collaborative flow between both Units 

  1. Performance Monitoring:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the performance of each unit.

Will also monitor progress, analyze data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  1. Team Support and Development:

Support and mentor team members within each unit, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Identify training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field 
  • Proven experience (2-3+ years) in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in a hybrid setting involving multiple business units.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and health coaching principles (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
