Hey Fitfam,
Your darling OCQ, Queen O is here again.?????.
December is finally here and Christmas is just around the corner! ??????
This year has been eventful but there still so much to be thankful and excited for. My kids can’t wait to see the special Christmas Decorations for this year and I’m hoping to blow their minds but more importantly help them focus on the reason for the season; Jesus Christ. I hope you dearest Mum will do the same.
Anyways the focus of the post is to help us mums stay focused on our weight goals and navigate our families through healthy meals all through the holidays.
Temptations are real especially in this Fitfam lifestyle journey but the answer to it is to try not to have them in our homes but to replace them with better healthy choices and even for our family members too.
Check out this earlier blog post and what it says on temptations
TEMPTED yet WINNING… This is how I do it!!!
By now in this Fitfam Journey I’m sure you are deeply Convinced that without God you cannot achieve anything successfully.
For it is God who is producing in you both the desire and the ability to do what pleases him.
Philippians 2:13 ISV
Hence, prayers and asking God specifically for FAVOR with your family especially your spouse and children cannot be overemphasized. The following blog post post gives some insight to this.
The #JesusGirlsFitness FAVOR Factor
Dear mum, God’s favor makes all the difference on this fitness journey. It gives your family a unity of purpose, extra accountability and before you know it everybody is involved; getting healthier and Fit.
There are some certain food products that are pretty ‘ajebo’ food but actually hazardous to our health. So as we move into the festive period please mums don’t even get tempted to compromise on them. Processed Sausages and frozen store bought fries are great examples and CoachE’ did some blog post on them earlier.

Personally, I’m not a huge rice fan but hey! as the Nigerians that we are, rice must show every week hehe!!!!! ‘Naija’ kids particularly love rice. Since the holidays are fast approaching You can spice up your rice game up with these super healthy and yummy CoachE’s recipes here
And if you or your loved ones must eat noodles at all here is another CoachE’s recipe on how to make proper healthy fortified noodles
